I totally dig that our Cameron is following in his fathers footsteps in the skateboarding arena. Lets hope he doesn't goes as far as builing a half pipe in the backyard huh Lina?
Way to go, Cam! Give him a corner for the half-pipe! Years later, kids will be saying, "Is it true, Mrs. Fewkes, that you used to have a half-pipe in your backyard?"
Hey, if you can create a halfpipe, I'd say do it. Way better to practice the craft in the backyard rather than having to deal with street discrimination (and this is coming from a fellow retired skate rat :) ).
Not to mention you'll get instant cred as *the* coolest mom in the neighborhood.
I just read your whole archives--HOW FUN. That Cam is really good. I saw him on the rip board yesterday, sheesh.
As for the rest, I blame you because I still have a ton of laundry to fold, but instead I keep handing my kids Otterpops while I read Eclipse.. ;-)
Also, I want to grow a garden, but I don't have a neighbor that will show me how to do it. Will you share your knowlege? I just killed a whole started set of flowers.
