Roman Aquaducts

We've been studying ancient Rome for the past couple of weeks and of course there are a lot of aspects of their lives that really appealed to my boys. They loved learning about Gladiators and fighting and more gladiators and more fighting.... ah for the love of boys. But they were also fascinated with Roman architecture and building. Here's our version of the Roman aquaduct.

And here is the absolute complete destruction of our aquaduct, it only lasted through two "rain" runs. Makes me grateful for modern day plumbing!!!

Boys will be boys

The boys were unusually loud the other night after we had put them to bed so we went to check on them and this is what we found...


Apparently they were flying airplanes.
