Back to School in our back room

So Tim and I made a big deal of the boys first day "back to school". We had them fall asleep relatively early the night before and started the day promptly at 7:30am. This is what they looked like upon awakening:

Tim gave everyone a start of the school year blessing, including the teacher who needed it more than the others.

The boys did a great job, they jumped right back in like we hadn't even taken a break.

When I sent them outside for their recess this is what I found them doing.

Out tending the garden, DURING THEIR RECESS!!!
Honestly you guys, it is these rare sweet moments that pull me through the rest of the crud. This kind of stuff can keep me going for awhile.

That is impressive!! Although, it looks like Aiden is tending the garden from the top of the trellis!!

You are such a good teacher! I love that you have recess, I figured that would be something that homeschoolers don't do... but it isn't like THEY don't need the break (and you too..).

How do Riley and K do during school? Is it hard to keep them occupied?
