So for those who don't know, Aidan, my second born, decided to make his entrance into this world one minute before my birthday. Yes, I said one minute... he was born at 11:59 p.m. on July 23. It was an exciting if not unnerving delivery. Tim came home from work and thought I was in labor but the contractions didn't seem strong enough to be labor so I sent him to scouts. He arrived home at about 9:30 and after looking at me for a couple of minutes decided that I was indeed in labor. "No No, dear husband, tis not true for my mother comes in twelve hours and the contractions are no where near as bad as they were with Cameron." An hour passes and finally he convinces me that we should at least go the hospital to check it out. Hospital check in 11:30, baby born 11:59. Yes this delivery could serve as a metaphor for my dear Aidan's life. Anxious to get started, ploughs right through the hard stuff, and likes to overshadow any sort of attention that I may be entitled to. (just kidding) He is a great kid and I love him more every day... even though he is already smarter than me and can outreason anyone who challenges him. Here's to Aidan.. we love you kid.
Oh and see this is me with my meager, half eaten birthday cake. Nice huh? overshadowed I tell ya.

i love your cute hair! he's an adorable little guy. man, did i say little? sorry... he's gotten so big! i still remember that day in church when he asked me... "why are you sitting all alone? where is your daddy!?" hee hee, i looked confused until you explained that since i had no children (at the time) then korban must be MY daddy! lol! all those brains, good looks and a sense of humor too!

Happy Birthday to both of you. Lu was born with a few minutes left on our anniversary... so we kind of know how that feels. :-)
Delivery--you are a stronger woman than I am. About 4 days before I am scheduled for an induction I start jonesing for my epidural... I can't be in the hospital SOON enough...
