Yup, two different shoes.
Of course this was too good to pass up so he proceeded to show Benj and then the family they were visiting. Good job Tim, I am happy you are keeping it together enough to at least remember to wear pants.
Tim's favorite word to describe brainless actions is "meatcake"- i dunno why. So when he came home to show me he just pointed down and uttered "meatcake". Thanks for the laugh Tim, you are awesome.

That is funny, I did the same thing before and Becka never lets me forget it. I had put on two black slip-ons but one had a buckle....duh! Becka and her friend laughed about it all night. We were at a fireside so I just sat most of the time. If anyone else noticed they didnt say anything. Thanks for the laugh!
See, this is why I love Tim so much, and why I'm proud to have him as a Bishop :).
That is so funny. Tim kind of reminds me of our dad in that way. Too busy with important things to worry about the inconsequential things. Shoes, important - check! I, too, am thankful that he continues to wear pants. Thanks for the chuckle this morning.
that's great! i thought only women did that! poor tim! busy daddy and bishop. i am with karen, good thing he remembered his pants!
Karen-
When I first heard about Tim being a Bishop it kinda blew me away- not because he is not great but because aren't we too young to be in the Bishop stage?
So my husband was just sustained as Bishop yesterday. Any advice?

Leave it to the Fewkes to make me chuckle. If I didn't lay out Mark's clothes for him every day, he'd probably wander out the door with mis-matched shoes, as well. ;)
My mom did the same thing the day I went into the MTC..but with one blue shoe and one black. As we were getting out of the car, the family in the next car pointed it out. We all laughed about it and then, shocker, the girl in that other family ended up being my MTC companion. Then she came home and married my next door neighbor. True story... but I digress...
Tim, I like your word better, we say "blockhead" in our family, but the same principal applies.
Good one!
